Scott Reintgen (pronounced “rankin”) is a celebrated science fiction and fantasy author from North Carolina. With a background in literature from his college and graduate studies, Scott began his career teaching English and creative writing to students in North Carolina, where he continues to live with his wife and family.

Scott’s Young Adult Fiction debut, Nyxia, ignited unprecedented demand for the rest of the Nyxia Triad, which continued with Nyxia Unleashed and concluded with Nyxia Uprising. In 2019, he launched the Ashlords duology with the release of Ashlords. Scott also introduced readers to the Waxways series and the forthcoming Dragonship series, starting October 1, 2024.

In addition to his Young Adult novels, Scott writes for Middle Grade audiences. In 2019, he released Saving Fable, the first book in the Talespinners trilogy, and he has also penned the Celia Cleary series.
